Are you a new or beginning farmer? These production focused classes are for you!

Supporting small-scale new and beginning farmers is essential to supporting our local food system in North Carolina. According to the 2022 Ag Census, there were nearly 23,000 new and beginning farmers in North Carolina alone. There has been tremendous growth in the value of food sold directly to consumers, retail markets, institutions, and food hubs.

These classes will provide resources to small-scale farmers and producers who are beginning an agricultural business. The classes will take place every other Thursday evening from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. from January 30th – April 10th. Classes will be $15 each and include dinner. Please register for each class individually below:
