COVID-19 Updates for Davidson County

— Written By
We continue to work with county and state health officials, as well as NC State University and N.C. A&T State University, to monitor the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. To help prevent the spread of the virus, effective immediately and until further notice, the Davidson County office will remain open, staffed with 2 people during regular business hours.
Our Extension agents are still available via email, phone, and other technological means, and will continue to assist you to the best of their ability. Email is the best means to contact the agents because of this new schedule. If you call and leave a message, please understand that it may take longer than usual to receive a phone call. You can find staff email addresses on our People page.
If you are planning an in-person visit, please call (336-242-2080) to arrange a time to ensure the agent is available. We are trying to stagger visits to limit contact between individuals.
All current programming is suspended. If you have a question about an event, please email.
Please know that these changes are intended to protect the health and safety of our community while striving to provide the resources and services you need. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and act consistent with local, state and national recommendations.

We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time, and we are committed to continue serving and growing our community. Together we will see it through, one day at a time. And above all, take the necessary precautions to keep you and your neighbors safe.
