Zoom is a video-conferencing application that can be used to host virtual meetings and workshops. During this time of social distancing, Extension will be using Zoom more frequently.
If you have never used Zoom before, you can use it with your tablet, smartphone, or computer. Please read this article and download Zoom on your device.
N.C. Cooperative Extension of Davidson County will host several workshops to help you become familiar with using Zoom. It will allow you to learn how to use some of the features of Zoom before your first meeting or workshop experience.
These sessions are a great way to test your system and will help you know how to use the basic features in Zoom. If you are new to Zoom, plan to join one of them. If you can’t make them, contact Sara to schedule another time.
